Additional Info:  Chandan is the Sanskrit word for sandalwood, and this incense is made with Indian sandalwood oil, which purportedly clarifies calms mind and emotions, relaxes, and relieves depression and stress.  This woody balsamic aroma is centering as well as sensual.  According to Ayurvedic tradition, sandalwood incense awakens intelligence, and is often used as an aid for meditation.  It is also said to enliven courage, purpose, strength and happiness.
