Additional Info: Elemi is a semi-solid gum that, much like pi–on, usually stays a bit tacky and sticky. It is common in perfumery for its wonderful exotic aroma, which is described as a light and mint-like with notes of lemon. As well as a delightful room fragrance, the scent has a harmonising effect particularly suited to meditation and visualization, creating a state of deep peacefulness without drowsiness. To us, it smells like a smooth frankincense that is almost, but not quite, mossy. |
