Cup-Style Burners

Cup-style incense burners are just that, incense burners shaped like a cup.  More often than not, these burners are intended to be used with charcoals and resin or cone incense.  It is best to put sand in a cup burner before burning anything in it.  This also allows a cup burner to be used for stick incense, as the incense stick can be stuck into the sand.  To buy either sand or charcoals, click here.  Otherwise, enjoy perusing the burner selection below.

This is a wonderful soapstone dish in the shape of a lotus.  As soapstone, it can be used for cones and powders.  With the addition of sand, it can also be used for sticks.  It comes in a box covered with Chinese-motif brocade.  The color of the stone and the box may vary from that pictured.

This is a metal burner with green patina that is called the Fairy Goddess.  There are 3 female figures standing on stars holding up the urn, which is shiny brass inside but relatively shallow.  With the addition of sand, this burner could also be used for sticks.  NOTE:   ALL OF OUR STOCK IS CURRENTLY AT THE BRISTOL RENAISSANCE FAIR IN WISCONSIN.  WE SHOULD BE RETURNING THIS ITEM TO STOCK JUST AFTER LABOR DAY 2008.

We currently carry three different styles of small flip-lid cups.  A flip-lid is a covered cone burner.  When you flip the lid, there are holes for holding stick incense.  I would not use these burners with charcoal.  If we sell off one of the styles, we will remove it from the list below.
