Tower-Style Burners

Tower burners can be described as a plate burner with a cover.  The cone or sticks are placed in the base and then covered with the decorative tower.

This is a hand-carved soapstone tower-tyle burner.  It comes in 2 pieces.  The bottom disk comes off and holds either cone or stick incense.  The floral-design sleeve then slips over the incense, and the smoke comes out the various holes.  As this is made of soapstone, the color will vary from what is pictured.

This is is more of a bottle-style burner than a true tower.  Stick incense are secured in a cork underneath the cover.  This burner is made of handcarved red soapstone.  The symbols on the bottle are a representation of the tree of life.  Kamala says it looks better in person than in the picture.
