WARNING: THIS OIL SHOULD NEVER BE USED DIRECTLY ON SKIN, ALWAYS DILUTE. AVOID WITH ALCOHOLISM, HAEMOPHILIA, PROSTATE CANCER, OR KIDNEY AND/OR LIVER PROBLEMS OR IF TAKING ANTICOAGULANTS. PRODUCT DATAFurther Information: The scent has been described as spicy, warming, slightly bitter, reminiscent of true clove. Clove essential oil is a stimulant and for some people, an aphrodisiac as well. Most people are familiar with its use for toothache. A drop of Clove essential oil placed directly on the gums will numb them out quite handily. Clove can also be used for joint and muscle pain. It is an excellent addition to a massage oil for arthritis or sprains: it kills pain and warms the area. Clove is antibacterial, anti-infectious, anti-viral, and anti-fungal. It can be used to eliminate athlete's foot as well as rid the body of scabies (when mixed with other essential oils). It kills germs in the mouth and prevents bad breath. Clove also has a beneficial effect on the digestive tract. It aids digestion, kills intestinal parasites, and stops nausea. Never use Clove essential oil directly on the skin. It can cause burning and irritation. Always dilute in a high quality carrier oil such as Sesame or Hazelnut oil. |
