WARNING: Rosemary should NOT be used by pregnant women, epileptics, or people with high blood pressure. PRODUCT DATAFurther Information: Rosemary essential oil is a powerful stimulant to the circulatory system. Because of this effect, it is good to add it to a massage oil for muscle aches and/or cramps, arthritis, and gout. Rosemary can also be used in this manner to help reduce cellulite. Used on the scalp or added to a shampoo, it prevents dandruff and hair loss. Rosemary energizes the heart and can be used for low blood pressure or cold hands and feet. It can also be added to a body oil to kill lice and scabies. Rosemary is often used as a mental stimulant as well. It aids mental clarity, concentration, and memory. It can also ease the symptoms of a hangover! Put eight or nine drops of Rosemary into the dish of an aromalamp (ALWAYS fill the dish with water first!) to boost the study power of your favorite student. In many ancient societies, Rosemary was a symbol of trust and faithful friendship. It was often used in marriage ceremonies for this reason. Additionally, it was thought to bring luck and protect against malicious magic and witchcraft. In more modern times, we see the spiritual qualities of Rosemary as those of self-confidence. Rosemary emboldens the spirit and reminds it of its destiny. |
