PRODUCT DATA Oil Last Made: 12/2/2007 Sales Pitch: While containing Mysore sandalwood and Omani frankincense, usually used for meditation, this blend also has herbals, such as ginger, rosemary, and holy basil, that purportedly assist with concentration and focus the mind. When Kamala smells the oil, she feels almost a fierce courageous sort of singlemindedness. Additional Information: Focus was actually developed to be part of our Sorcerer's Apprentice sampler kit. While containing Mysore sandalwood and Omani frankincense, usually used for meditation, this blend also has herbals, such as ginger, rosemary, and holy basil, that purportedly assist with concentration and focus the mind. When I (Webgrunt) smell the oil, I get the sensation of being pulled quickly through a crowd to a point. I have not yet used the oil with any intent, so I have never ended up at a particular point of focus. It has always been a sudden stop. When Kamala smells the oil, she feels that her mind has managed to kick out distractions and sharpen itself into single-pointed intent. It is almost a fierce courageous sort of singlemindedness. Since this oil is what we call a sniffer, you should only need a sample size or the 1/5-dram size. However, it does diffuse well in an aromalamp or would make a fine candle oil for more long-term focus. |
