PRODUCT DATA Label Information: Chakras are the seven energy centers of the body used in the 5,000 year old Indian medical system of Ayurveda. Modern healing systems have recently started using the chakras as well. Chakra energies encompass elements of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual planes. Kamala's Chakra blends are intentional combinations of pure essential oils designed to open and balance each chakra.--Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): This chakra deals with the mind and the head: thought, consciousness, reason, the nerves, and mental clarity. Its dysfunction is attachment. Its color is purple and its stone is amethyst. Our blend features oils which stimulate the mind such as Orange and Rosemary.--Brow Chakra (Ajna): Brow Chakra is linked to the talents of intuition and insight. Its sense is light, its color is violet, and its stone is fluorite. Our blend consists of oils which stimulate intuition such as Mugwort and Frankincense.--Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Communication is highlighted by this chakra. Also, issues of the throat such as self-expression, creativity, and sound. Its dysfunction is laryngitis or lying. Its color is blue and its stone is lapis lazuli. Kamala blends Fir and Cinnamon with other, softer oils to create this chakra blend.--Heart Chakra (Anahata): This chakra relates to issues of circulation, blood, emotions, caring, acceptance, and love. Its dysfunction is grief. Its sense is touch, its color is green, and its stones are rose quartz or jade. Our blend includes pure Otto of Rose and Vanilla.--Solar Plexus Chakra(Manipura): Issues of self-esteem, protection, will, energy, and ego are those of this chakra. Physically, it rules the pancreas, adrenals, and digestive system. Its dysfunction is shame. Its sense is sight, its color is yellow, and its stones are tiger eye or amber. Protective oils such as Juniper and Geranium are featured in this blend.--Hara Chakra (Svadhistana): The Hara refers to the area between the sex organs and the navel. This chakra deals with sexuality, pleasure, and body image. Hara Chakra relates to the urinary tract, kidneys, and reproductive organs. Its sense is taste, and its dysfunction is guilt or excess weight. Its color is orange and its stones are garnet or citrine. The Hara Chakra blend includes precious Jasmine Sambac and Patchouli among other oils.--Root Chakra (Muladhara): This chakra deals with responsibility, grounding, centering, survival, and fight or flight response. Its sense is smell. It governs the excretory organs. Its dysfunction is fear. Its color is red and its stones are hematite and obsidian. Kamala's blend features earthy Vetiver and Cypress.
