PRODUCT DATA Label Information: While drinking one night, Kamala and Grunt decided it was time to expose our customers to some of the strangest things people distill into essential oils. Believe it or not, these things do have a purpose. Keep reading to discover them!--CHOYA NAKH: This oil is crushed sea shells that have been distilled in sandalwood oil. It is used as a frequent component in perfumes. At this point, we have found no aromatherapy use for this oil.--MITTI ATTAR: This oil is crush baked clay distilled in sandalwood oil. As it is made from earth, it is given the aromatherapy property of grounding.--CHILI PEPPER: This oil is made from the fruit rather than the seeds. Therefore, the level of joint-treating capsaicin is lower than chili seed oil. It still has a great smell, though.--MUSHROOM (porcini): Not even the maker of this oil provides us with any aromatherapeutic use for this oil.--CINNAMON LEAF: Not as harsh on the skin as cinnamon bark, cinnamon leaf has many of the same properties with the additional benefit of being a natural insect repellant.--TEMPLIN: Made from the cones of the European silver fir, templin oil is used in colognes and aftershaves as a freshening agent. Like cinnamon leaf, it is also a deoderant; and like capsaicin, it is a rubefacient, which means it reddens the skin by increasing blood flow to an area thereby causing relief of congestion and inflammation of deeper tissues.
